How to join our live Club and Student events

We have a fabulous variety of live events open to our Club members and students, both to meet fellow formulators and also to learn directly from our Cosmetic Scientists.

We list all of these events inside the event schedule in our Circle community.

Here’s a brief run-through of the events you’ll find inside our Circle community and how to join them.

You’ll find two types of events:
🟢 Open to All events
🔐 Paid events or course-specific events

Let’s go through the differences and how to access them.

IMPORTANT: Paid or course-specific events will always have additional registration steps so please pay special attention to these.

🟢 Open to All events

All events marked with a green circle are open to all Club members and students of our Diploma or Advanced courses and are free to attend.

Events that are Open to All will look like this:

Which events are Open to All?

Formulator Forums

These are relaxed, peer-to-peer gatherings where you can meet fellow formulators, chat about your current projects, ask questions, share experiences, exchange ideas, or simply connect with others who understand the formulating journey. They are hosted by our lovely community coordinator, Geraldine.

Learning Labs

These are expert led events hosted by our Cosmetic Scientists. You’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from either Tina or Nicole and subjects covered in the past have included testing and adjusting pH, working with surfactants and choosing packaging. Coming up we have sessions on Soapmaking for Beginners and Lip care products.

Please note: Learning labs were previously also called Formulator Forums, but we have renamed them to indicate these are taught by our Cosmetic Scientists.

How to join Open to All events?

Just Click RSVP and you will receive the Zoom link to join. Easy!

No advanced registration is required. We do recommend you RSVP, then you will receive event reminders so you don’t miss them.

🔐 Paid events or course-specific events

Events marked with a padlock are either paid events or course-specific events and require extra registration steps.

Please take special notes of the padlocked events and follow the steps required in order to join the live Zoom call.

IMPORTANT: Simply clicking RSVP will not give you the Zoom link you need to join.

We close registration for our paid and course-specific events four hours before they start. So we recommend registering for the Zoom call well in advance.
